Selangor, with an area of approximately 8,000 sq. km, extends along the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia at the northern outlet of the Straits of Malacca. Selangor has many outdoor activities to do. There is the famous Sunway Lagoon Theme Park that has the water park and also other theme parks in it. It also has a mini zoo in it. Another famous place for water sports is the Puchong Water Sports Village. Here you can also rent a unit to stay over and have barbeque with your friends. There is also the Desa Water Park too. Other than these water parks, there is also the famous Batu Caves where there is a large gold statue of the God worshipped by the Hindus.
